Splendid Interiors was founded by Roberto and Esther Contreras, a husband and wife whose story spans countries, cultures, and a lifetime of hard work. Roberto, originally from Panama, started out running his own handcrafted furniture business before immigrating to the United States, where he built a long career in sales through honesty and genuine connection.

 

In his 70s, he still shows up every day with the same drive he's always had. Esther, born in Cuba, spent years in corporate America before following her heart toward interior design, and her eye for elegance and comfort has shaped how Splendid Interiors approaches every project.

In 2018, Roberto and Esther took a leap of faith and founded Splendid Interiors as a small, family-run business built on passion, integrity, and the belief that a home should feel special.

What began as a dream between two people has grown into a true family endeavor, with three of Roberto and Esther's children now working alongside them. Family is at the center of everything Splendid Interiors does, because a home is more than a place to live, it's where family gathers and life unfolds.
